Do Friendships Blossom at HANC?
We are a community school. The children who attend our preschool are from your neighborhood. Because of the warm nature of our school, friendships form among parents and children. It is been our experience that even as your children grow, the friendships that both you and they make at HANC last a lifetime.

Where do HANC ECC Students Live?
Our school draws students from the local Plainview community as well as from the surrounding areas of Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
What Jewish backgrounds do HANC families come from?
Our students come from a variety of Jewish backgrounds. Everyone is respected and accepted with open arms. It is our hope that your child will connect to his or her Jewish identity and be instilled with a love and appreciation for being Jewish.
How do teachers communicate with parents?
Parents are our partners! Teachers communicate through weekly emails that include a summary of the learning that took place that week, supplemented by pictures to share with family and friends. Teachers are always accessible to parents by phone and email, and of course, parents are always welcome to visit our classrooms.
What type of security protocols are in place at HANC?
Safety and security is of utmost importance to us at HANC. All of the doors are locked and monitored with cameras and a full time security officer. The main office must buzz all parents and visitors into the building. We perform safety drills throughout the year to ensure that our teachers and students are prepared for any emergency.
